Yard restoration — $250

A neighbor had a foot injury and hired PWJ for the plant species knowledge, physical confidence, and willpower to clean up the yard. We discovered that the mower works once it got started, and the doggie enjoyed the expanded space in the back.

Pruning Shrubs — $100

This is just one corner of the yard and the project included pulling out the goldenrod and snakeroot from the rock beds, then removing the dead branches from the ninebush. The second session of work focused on pruning the mature shrub away from the path of the mower, away from the house and eaves, and into a more shapely yard feature.

Curb Appeal — $500

A realtor brought on PWJ to help this busy family get their yard ready for the photographer in listing the house for sale. We had to decide whether to pick up all of the apples…and decided that the focus needed to be on the lines of the beds, pulling weeds, and cutting perennials back for the season. The apple tree did get a pruning!

Garage Sorting — $800

PWJ has seen some garages of note! This is an “after” photo of someone who deeply enjoys outdoor activities including kayaking, beekeeping, gardening, volunteer landscaping, and camping. Regardless of why or how a garage gets to be in a state of need, work with PWJ to make it a space that’s good for a car and/or work tables. It will be so satisfying to reclaim the space to be functional, safe, and proud to live with!

Walls cleaned, sanded, primed, painted to bring light into sunroom. Window trim and ceiling painted.

Room Painting — $600

One color change in a room is amazing, but often the walls need a deep cleaning and maybe some repairs. These walls are actually wood panel veneer, and we sanded them and primed them. The window trim also needed to be sanded, primed and painted white. We painted the ceiling as well, for good measure! As a team project, the end came twice as fast and saved the budget for this home owner.
