About the owner

Welcome.

Nice to meet you! I founded this LLC to provide restoration project-based services to regular people, and have met some exceptional folks! I want individuals and families to have information, health, and skills to enjoy and maintain their homes. The tangible and visible services I bring in a work session are part of the story, but my work style and superpower is customizing everything, especially the pace and timeline. I love working with people in whatever capacity they feel comfortable: teamwork can be a huge value-add. However, the ability to provide a high-quality result by working independently is what allows me to be self-employed. I left regular employment after many successes, and have enjoyed volunteering to continue my positive impact in the community. Working Projects allows me to self-sustain a simple lifestyle and be generous to my family and neighbors. It brings me great joy to socialize with folks around an activity, especially something that can be ongoingly generative for them (you)! I think you’ll find my services are an asset, a little bit cheaper and faster than other options, and interesting!

Dignity and Choice. Sense. Beauty.

Business History

The LLC was legally founded in the winter of 2023, with the website launch in late March. My first clients needed help with moving, painting, and removing buckthorn. Several people have been routine clients, and most clients referred a friend for the following spring. In April of 2024, my yardwork projects doubled! The winter of 2025 was focused on helping young families (moms) live their organized dreams, and 90% of my yardwork clients signed on for the current season. In August of 2025, business became accredited with the Better Business Bureau, thus quadrupling my advertising efforts. Long-term goals are to be a reliable consultant and partner for adjacent businesses, and continue to provide excellent service to all clients.

A little bio

I’m from Ohio and found a path to college to be a teacher. I was always interested in sorting through things and making displays. As a big sister, I got pretty good at changing processes to help others, and looked for career opportunities with continuous improvement and change. I also found deep satisfaction working behind the scenes theatre in college. I loved school and finished my graduate degree in 2009. After about 10 years of classroom teaching and 7 years in workforce development social work, I was ready for more autonomy in earning a living. I loved the students and program participants and am honored to have served the public in these ways, and there’s more to life than jobs. I finished beautifully renovating my condo, and reflected on my grandfather’s legacy, the success I had working one-on-one with dozens of people from many walks of life, and felt compassion of several mentors. By March of 2023, I was weary of corporate metrics determining my value and created an LLC. Another iteration of making the best of things. Every spring I plant some veggies and flowers, and get more confident in my landscaping skills. Self-employment is like continuous interviewing with better stakes. I feel that my people-centered, organizational mindset, and plethora of monetizable hobbies are worthwhile to add value in the community.

More “Why”: I grew up in a family that values history, that people are significant, as we do in typical middle America. We had plates, photos, lamps from great aunt Josephine and people enjoyed talking about them. When I bought a condo in 2021, I got to fully renovate it, and really had an opportunity to establish my own value for space and stuff. I had to make decisions and carry boxes and explain the process to other people. I have a treasure shelf now, and my family has seen it. It’s a premium experience, to have that sense of dignity about home, and to share the process of organizing with others.

And “Why” yards. I grew up with references to the forsythia blooming, and the arbor vitae as reference points in the yard. It seems the flower gardens give folks a feeling of nostalgia, luxury, pride and certainly help us mark the seasons. It seems everyone has a story about a lilac, or a tree branch, and I love hearing the sentiment, as well as talking with people about the growth and decay cycles of plants. Yards give us beauty, and it reflects the changes of the people too.
