Successful Projects

Kitchen cabinets! A client enlisted my help to scrub down, sand, and paint inside and out. The teamwork included emptying the cabinets, too, and she decided to have me also paint the ceiling. The cabinets were originally were a shade of white. I had fun seeing the refreshing transformation as we set up for a couple months indoors.

Basement treasures! A client has enlisted help in sorting “keep, donate, recycle, junk” in the basement and other areas of her house. We’re finding things left from the kids in their 20s, as well as things from her parents-in-law. My role is encouragement, moving bags and boxes, and suggesting next areas of focus. The client is handling all the decisions. We enjoy seeing increasingly clear spaces of concrete wall and floor.

Leaves! One of my three-years-in-a-row clients continues to enjoy her yard, but not the aerobic tasks. It’s a joy to see the result of my previous effective pruning and clearing in her yard!

More Highlights

I am deeply grateful to know and work with YOU.

Beyond business, November’s blessings abound. I served on a fundraising volunteer committee for Moses Madison, and the annual event was wonderfully successful. I’ve also had the blessing of serving as registration volunteer at The River food pantry, and they continue to see record numbers of guests. Aldo Leopold Nature Center is another volunteer gig that I love! For pleasure, I made a three-day trip to visit some landmarks and important people in Iowa this month, and enjoyed a few days kayaking in our sunshine as well. Advent is my favorite season, and I’ve got all my candles ready to watch the snow fall on the pines.
